This section of the website aims to collate a history of general practice in Australia. It has been broken down into chapters relating to different periods of history. Each chapter is then broken down into decades. One aim is to be able to give a clear picture of what it was like to be a general practitioner at any point in Australian history and hence the biographies of doctors in various eras.
